You can use your mala for meditation or as an accessory for positive vibes. The biggest thing is believing in your mala's energy to guide you.
Start by sitting with your mala and coming up with your mantra. Your mantra can be as simple as 'Peace'. You will drape the mala over the middle finger and then pull one stone at a time with the first finger towards the heart. Making your way all around the mala back to the guru the larger stone down by the tassel. Your meditation takes patience and time, and when the mind wanders come back to the mantra.
